Argyle have completed the signing of forward Tamara Wilcock.
The 21-year-old signs with the Greens, having most recently played for Stoke City in the FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division.
Wilcock follows Head Coach Marie Hourihan, and defenders Arabella Suttie and Roisin Kivel, to Home Park, having featured 21 times for the Potters last season, providing 13 goal involvements.
Before her one-season stint with the Potters, she began her career with Sheffield United, joining their Academy at the under-16 level, before progressing through to the under-21s and first-team.
Upon securing Wilcock’s signature, Hourihan said: “We’re absolutely delighted to welcome Tamara to Plymouth Argyle. She is a talented and dynamic player who will bring quality and versatility to our squad.
“Her technical ability, work ethic, and eye for goal make her a fantastic addition, and she’s someone we believe will make a real impact both on and off the pitch. We’re all looking forward to seeing her in green and watching her grow as part of this team.”
Christian Kent, Executive Lead for Women’s Football at Argyle, said: “Bringing Tamara down to Argyle was something we had as a high priority once we knew the chance was there, and we’re delighted to complete the signing.
“She’s going to bring an exciting energy to the squad. I can’t wait for her to get going.”
The signing is subject to league approval.
