Torquay for pre season

Argyle have added a fifth fixture to their pre-season schedule, visiting Plainmoor in mid-July to take on Torquay United.

With games against Plymouth Parkway, Bristol City, Yeovil Town and Truro City already confirmed, a trip to the English Riviera will give Steven Schumacher’s side even more game time ahead of the start of the 2022/23 Sky Bet League One season.

The Greens have visited Plainmoor in seven out of the past eight seasons and claimed a 3-0 win there last season.

Goals from Niall Ennis, Panutche Camara and Ryan Hardie saw off the Vanarama National League side in Argyle’s final warm-up game of the summer.

This time around, the Pilgrims will make the trip up the south coast on Tuesday, 19 July for a 7.45pm kick off.
