Academy players celebrate goal

Vacancies | Lead Academy Coaches Cornwall

Our forward-thinking and ambitious Academy is looking to recruit six part-time Lead Academy Coaches for the Cornwall region.

The roles will form a key element of the Pilgrims' enhanced presence in Cornwall, playing an integral role in developing grass roots football in the region, as well as improving the club's talent identification and monitoring in the region.

As part of our strategic vision for Cornwall, the club will have two elite coaching hubs in the county - one at Penryn College, and the other at Callywith College, in Bodmin.

These positions will be integral to the development of the Academy over the next three to five years, as the Academy starts to implement a new Player Pathway within Cornwall.

It is critical that the successful applicant understands player development as well as assisting the club’s aim of developing more home-grown players into the first team. The successful applicants will live locally and already have strong networks with local youth leagues and schools, in order to maintain relationships to improve the talent pipeline.

If you think this is the role for you, please contact Academy Manager Phil Stokes on phil.stokes@pafc.co.uk to request a copy of the job description.

Application deadline: Midday on Friday 6th August.
