Pay: £11.44/hour
Plymouth Argyle Football Club are looking for a Disability Ambassador to join the busy Disability Liaison team within the Visitor Experience department.
Within this role, you will be responsible for providing dedicated assistance to supporters and visitors with disabilities and access needs, enabling them to enjoy the highest quality experiences across all Home Park match days, concerts and events.
You will help supporters with disabilities and access needs to make the most of their visit by assisting with their ingress and egress, ensuring they are comfortable during their time with us and by facilitating their visit through the provision of sensory packs or audio described commentary sets, where required.
You will be:
- Passionate and enthusiastic about delivering excellent visitor experiences to visitors with access needs and disabilities.
- Able to deliver the highest levels of customer service.
- A people person, able to quickly build rapport with supporters and visitors of different ages and from a range of backgrounds.
- Able to commit to working a range of match and event days as required
You will have:
- Experience working with people with access needs or disabilities.
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
- Problem solving skills and the confidence to handle potentially challenging or sensitive issues.
- Good knowledge of matters relating to access, inclusion and disability.
