Argyle & Luton Town will be represented by ball number 4, when the Vertu Trophy semi-final draw takes place on Thursday, 12 February.
The draw will be broadcast live on Sky Sports News from 2.30pm. Jamie Weir will host the coverage, alongside Jobi McAnuff and Curtis Davies.
In this year's competition, Argyle progressed through Southern Group B in second place, before securing late wins over Leyton Orient and Bristol Rovers in the first two knockout rounds. The Greens will face Luton Town in the quarter-finals on Tuesday, 24 February.
The semi-final draw is not regionalised.
The ball numbers are as follows:
1. Doncaster Rovers
2. Northampton Town
3. Stockport County
4. Luton Town or Argyle
Semi-final ties will take place in the week commencing 2 March.
