Watts nominated for September Goal of the Month

Caleb Watts

Caleb Watts has been nominated for the September Sky Bet League One Goal of the Month award.

The midfielder makes the shortlist for his remarkable strike in the Greens' 4-2 win over Stockport County.

Receiving the ball from Bali Mumba, Watts shifted onto his right and unleashed an effort from range which swerved late into the far top corner, foxing Hatters goalkeeper Corey Addai.

The goal doubled Argyle's advantage in the first-half, as the Greens went on to pick up three points on an entertaining afternoon.

The other nominees are Bolton's Amario Cozier-Duberry for his late strike against Leyton Orient, Harvey White of Stevenage for a free-kick effort against Exeter City, and Huddersfield's Leo Castledine for a curler from the edge of the box - also against Exeter City.
