Away Fan information
Hillsborough stadium lies 5/6 miles from the city centre and is serviced mainly by trams. Members of the Green Army staying in the city pre-match can visit which ever establishments are open. However, there are a small number of pubs in the Hillsborough area are for home fans only.
Getting to the ground
If supporters are using Super tram to get to Hillsborough Stadium take the yellow line in the direction of Middlewood.
Get off at the Leppings Lane stop, from where it is a few minutes-walk to the stadium.
A conductor is on every tram so there is no need to buy a ticket before you board. Trams are every 10 minutes (peak), 20 minutes (off peak).
Please use this service if you are returning to the city centre after the game. The trams are frequent and will clear the area very quickly.
Supporters are reminded that apart from the turnstiles, Hillsborough is a cashless stadium.
