West Brom fixture marks start of Argyle v Homophobia month

Saturday’s game against West Bromwich Albion sees the start of Argyle v Homophobia month, as the club comes together to fight homophobia in football.

All of Argyle’s home games across both the men’s and women’s teams throughout February will raise awareness in partnership with Argyle Pride.

Warm up t-shirts at the start of this month highlight our Choose Respect campaign, to ensure an inclusive game for all, and key messaging will be shared across our website and social media channels, and throughout the stadium.

Katie McManus, Argyle Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Manager, commented: “It is so important we commit to campaigns such as these and shine the light on behaviours that will not be tolerated here at Argyle.

“We are a family friendly football club and Home Park is a place for everyone where we want anyone who visits to have a good experience.

"We are delighted to be working with Argyle Pride to deliver an array of activity throughout the month to support this Argyle v Homophobia campaign.”
