Pacy winger Issaka made history for Argyle on 31 August, 2021 as he made his first-team debut for the Greens at just 15 years and 34 days old coming on in the EFL Trophy tie against Newport County. This made him the youngest player ever to represent Argyle's first team. 

As of December 2023, Freddie has made 11 first-team appearances, including his first start - against Leyton Orient in the Carabao Cup - and two substitute appearances in the Championship.
