Caleb is a midfielder who has developed in the Academy from the age of six, making his first appearance for the Under-18s at the age of 15, soon becoming a regular performer for the side.

Roberts made his first start in an EFL Trophy fixture against Crystal Palace Under-21s in October 2022. The following week, he secured his first professional contract, on his 17th birthday.

He opened his professional account with a goal in the Trophy knockout tie where Argyle fought off Charlton Athletic to come away with a 3-2 win.

Caleb made his first-team league debut as a substitute on Boxing Day, 2022, at Cheltenham Town.
