Tegan is a prolific wide attacker, who has had success in both the Youth Alliance and Merit Leagues for Argyle.

In 2024/25, Finn was involved with the first-team, making multiple appearances in Sky Bet Championship action. His feature against Leeds, at Elland Road, made him the sixth youngest debutant in the club's history.

The former Ivybridge Community College pupil signed for the Academy in the under-9 age group, after progressing through the club’s pre-Academy and Plymouth Centre of Excellence.

On 25 August, 2025, Finn signed a three-year contract with the club, his first professional deal.
