Ross signed for Argyle on a three-year contract in August 2025, following his release from Turkish giants Galatasaray.

A Danish youth international up to under-21 level, Ross began his professional career in his homeland at AaB. He went on to make 104 appearances, scoring six times for the Danish top-tier side.

Ross made the move to Turkey in 2022 for a seven-figure fee but only made two appearances for the Istanbul-based team, scoring once. 

He had two loan spells during his three-year spell with Gala, appearing for NEC Breda and Sparta Prague.
