Bishop moved to Devon, having played for Norwich City the season prior, where she was a key role in helping the Canaries secure promotion to the FAWNL Northern Premier Division for the first time through the play-offs.

Ellie came through the Norwich pathway from the age of nine, and was awarded the Young Player of the Season award for the Canaries for the 2021/22 season, before joining Spurs for the following campaign.

After also having a spell with Watford, the defender returned to Norwich and became the club’s first-ever female professional player, in June 2025.
