ARGYLE will play MVV Maastricht on their pre-season trip to the Netherlands in July.
The game will be played at MVV's Stadium 'De Geusselt' on Tuesday, July 26, with kick off at 7.00pm. The game will be on the second day of Argyle's tour of the Netherlands.
Stadium 'De Geusselt' is a 8,800 seater stadium, with a perfect artificial pitch. MVV Maastricht play in the Eerste Divisie, the second-highest division of football in the Netherlands.
Argyle will travel to the Netherlands on Sunday, July 24, and return on Friday, July 29. The day after returning, the Pilgrims face Premier League West Bromwich Albion at Home Park, and a week later will begin the 2016-17 Sky Bet season, on August 6.

MVV Maastricht are nicknamed de Sterrendragers, which translates to 'Wearers of Stars', because their logo is based on the city's coat of arms with an armed angel holding a red shield with a white star.
De Sterrendragers play in red shirts with white shorts, and finished 10th in Eerste Divisie last season. Eventough they played Play-Offs for promotion to the ‘Eredivisie’. MVV made it to the semi-finals. Locally de Sterrendragers are known as 'Us MVV'ke', which means 'our little MVV'. The club was founded in 1902, making it 114 years old. The last time the club was in the Eredivisie was in 2000.
