Tommy and Ronnie

TWO Pilgrim legends will join us at Home Park for the half-time festivities in today’s Sky Bet League Two meeting with Grimsby Town.

Tommy Tynan and Ronnie Mauge have both written their names in Argyle folklore and it will be wonderful to welcome them back to the Theatre of Greens.

The goalscoring genius of Tommy Tynan was heralded in the summer, as he was nominated the Greatest Pilgrim Striker in our online poll with the Green Army, recording an incredible 145 goals in 310 appearances for Argyle.

Not known so much for scoring a barrage of goals, midfielder Ronnie Mauge took his place in Green hearts by notching the winner in the 1996 Division Three Play-Off Final. An outstanding player in the engine room, Ronnie was voted number eight in the Greatest Pilgrim Midfielders.

Tommy and Ronnie will first be joined by another legend in Duncan Neale for the pre-match launch of our fantastic new retro shirts in the Home Park Superstore from 11am – 2pm today.
