Argyle Youth 4 Hereford United Youth 0

ARGYLE'S youngsters took their unbeaten run in the Football League Youth Alliance South West Conference to four games with a comfortable victory at Haye Road.

James Bradley had headed wide of the Hereford goal before Jared Bowen's rasping cross-shot brought a fine save out of Argyle goalkeeper Christian Walton who was thereafter not seriously troubled again in the match as his side dominated proceedings.

It was Walton's opposite number, Kyle Moore, who was in constant action with saves from Solomon Wheatley, Colin Watson and Joshua Hutchinson before Argyle finally made the breakthrough on 26 minutes.

A good passage of play ended with Watson's superb pass putting in River Allen, who had timed his run from deep to perfection, and the midfielder's fine early drive flew into the corner of Moore's net.

Within a minute, it was 2-0 as Allen turned provider with a great ball over the top for Hutchinson to race in from the right to fire low inside the near post.

Several chances had been missed before a right wing cross found Tyler Harvey, pictured, slipping his marker to fire into the top corner of the goal on 50 minutes and make it 3-0.

The scoring was completed five minutes from time, when Nathan Perkins scythed down Callum Hall in the area and he had received a straight red card before Harvey comfortably converted the penalty.
