Sky's The Limit For Ginsters

ARGYLE’S main sponsors Ginsters have become an Official Partner of the EFL.

The UK’s Westcountry-based No. 1 savoury pastry brand recently agreed a deal with Argyle which will see Derek Adams’ side wear Ginsters’ distinctive logo on their shirts for the next three seasons.

Ginsters have now partnered with the EFL for the same period and will be offering tickets, cash prizes and VIP match-day experiences as part of the deal, with more than 40 million packs of Ginsters products set to offer such prizes.

Ginsters previously sponsored the Pilgrims between 2002-2011, a period that saw the club promoted to the Championship for a six-season stint in the second tier of English football.

EFL Chief Executive Shaun Harvey said: “As a nationally recognised company that remains ingrained in its local community, values its heritage and recognises the important role football can play in society, Ginsters is an excellent fit as a partner for the EFL.”

Kieran Hemsworth, Ginsters’ Managing Director, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with the EFL for the next three years. We know that Ginsters consumers are really passionate about football and our sponsorship provides a fantastic platform for us to connect with fans and local communities across the country.”

Hemsworth previously stated that he was “delighted to be sponsoring a local football club which, like us, has a strong presence and heritage in the West Country.”

Ginsters employ hundreds of people – many of them Argyle supporters – in their Callington headquarters and have sponsored many local sports teams in recent years.
