Garita and Tanner Extend Loan Deals

ARGYLE loan duo Arnold Garita and Craig Tanner are officially Pilgrims until the end of the season.

Both men have signed extension to their loan deals, meaning they will complete the season at Home Park.

Garita joined in September, from Bristol City, and has proved a popular addition to the squad. Tanner will complete his second season at Argyle, on loan from Reading having spent the entirety of 2015-16 with the Pilgrims, making 50 appearances.

In fact, Tanner began this campaign with the Royals, even making the bench when Reading played Argyle in the EFL Cup. Before the end of April, he was back at Home Park, pulling on the green and white once again. He has made 13 starts and 11 substitute appearances in all competitions, scoring five times. Argyle have won in all five of the games Tanner has scored in - Newport in the Checkatrade Trophy; Colchester, Crewe, Acrrington and Crawley in Sky Bet League Two.

Garita's initial impact was quick, sudden and somewhat fleeting. He showed promise in a substitute appearance against Cheltenham Town, then started a league game against Cambridge United; games Argyle won each time. Against Exeter, at St James' Park, Arnie was unplayable. He scored and assisted in Argyle's 2-0 derby day victory, but limped off with an injury that would keep him from action for two months. He has since returned to action, scoring his second goal for the club as Argyle beat Stevenage 4-2 on Saturday. In total, Arnie has made 13 appearances in total, five as a substitute.

Everyone at Home Park is delighted that Craig and Arnie are staying.
