Vacancy: Retail Sales Assistant
Part-Time: Casual Worker
Location: Plymouth Argyle Football Club
Salary: £12.21 per hour
The Retail Sales Assistant is responsible for delivering excellent customer service, assisting with sales, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the store. This includes handling customer inquiries, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and well-stocked store environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers by providing product information and guidance.
- Handle transactions, including cash and card payments.
- Ensure that all stock is correctly displayed and replenished.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the store.
- Provide upsell and promotional information to customers.
- Assist with stock deliveries and storage.
- Prevent loss by monitoring customers and reporting suspicious activity.
- Support promotional events and sales activities.
- Adhere to club policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above.
- Basic IT competency, including familiarity with Microsoft Word & Excel.
Experience:
- Experience working in a customer-facing role.
- Experience in cash handling and processing credit card payments.
- Previous experience in a sales environment is desirable.
- Supervisory experience is advantageous but not essential.
