Vacancy:  Retail Sales Assistant
Part-Time:  Casual Worker
Location: Plymouth Argyle Football Club
Salary: £12.21 per hour

The Retail Sales Assistant is responsible for delivering excellent customer service, assisting with sales, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the store. This includes handling customer inquiries, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and well-stocked store environment. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers by providing product information and guidance. 
  • Handle transactions, including cash and card payments. 
  • Ensure that all stock is correctly displayed and replenished. 
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the store. 
  • Provide upsell and promotional information to customers. 
  • Assist with stock deliveries and storage. 
  • Prevent loss by monitoring customers and reporting suspicious activity. 
  • Support promotional events and sales activities. 
  • Adhere to club policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations. 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above.
  • Basic IT competency, including familiarity with Microsoft Word & Excel. 

Experience:

  • Experience working in a customer-facing role. 
  • Experience in cash handling and processing credit card payments. 
  • Previous experience in a sales environment is desirable. 
  • Supervisory experience is advantageous but not essential.
