Workforce data reporting 2025 - FA Rule N

Plymouth Argyle Football Club is committed to ensuring a welcoming and inclusive workplace for all. To understand our workforce better, and in compliance with FA Rule N, we have collected anonymised data on staff demographics.

Collating our workforce data allows us to understand and identify underrepresented groups, and address any potential inequalities. We collected our data in May 2025, and have benchmarked it against local and national census data. Our reporting will continue on a bi-annual basis.

Plymouth Argyle is committed to promoting equality, valuing diversity, and fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for all. Following collation of our workforce data, we have established three goals to help us continue in our journey of being an inclusive employer.

Goal 1: To work with the EFL, FA and other relevant organisations to increase representation of women in our workforce to at least 40%.

Goal 2: We strive to be an inclusive employer, engaged with the local community. Census data highlights 22% of the population locally have a declared disability. PAFC will seek to increase the representation of people with disabilities in the workplace by 3% over the next two years, by reinforcing existing inclusive recruitment strategies and working with local organisations to support people with disabilities into our workplace.

Goal 3: Enhance and communicate the employee benefits package to attract and retain staff, based on feedback from the staff survey (2025).

We strive to be the employer of choice in the South West, and representative of the community we work in. We will continue to work collaboratively with staff, supporters and players to deliver on our goals and values, and acknowledge the contributions made to ensure we are an inclusive football club.
