Ayman Benarous signed a one-year contract with Argyle in July 2025, after a successful trial period with the club.

The versatile midfielder spent one week training with Tom Cleverley’s side following his release from Bristol City, and impressed the coaching team with his quality.

Benarous played 11 times for the Robins having come through their academy, with his time there largely disrupted by two serious injuries, but the midfielder joined Argyle fully fit.
