Kane began his career at Liverpool and during his time there had loan spells with Doncaster Rovers and Hull City.

From there, he joined Barnsley where he played 123 games and scored 14 goals. While at Oakwell, he spent a season at Oxford United playing 37 times and joined Huddersfield in July 2024.

He joined Argyle on loan until the end of the season, in January 2026.
