Argyle TV FAQs

Please see below a list of FAQs related to Argyle TV

WHAT GAMES CAN I WATCH ON ARGYLE TV?

In line with the welcome return of supporters to stadiums, broadcast rules have reverted back to standard regulations, meaning limited streaming is available domestically.

  • Saturday afternoon fixtures not selected for television broadcast, alongside Friday and Sunday fixtures, are permitted to be broadcast on Argyle TV - outside of the UK and Ireland, Channel Islands, and Isle of Man.
  • Live audio commentary will be available in these territories.
  • Midweek fixtures not selected for television broadcast are permitted to be streamed live, and worldwide, on Argyle TV, as are Bank Holiday fixtures.

When a fixture is selected for broadcast by television partners such as Sky Sports, it becomes unavailable to Argyle TV subscribers, in both domestic and international territories. In this event, supporters are advised to check local listings to see where the game is available to watch.

If there is not a pay-per-view match pass available on the 'packages' page on the pafc.co.uk website, this means that it is not available in your territory. However, audio match passes are available for every competitive Argyle fixture, both in the UK and overseas.

Please note that there is no season card holder access to streaming.

HOW DO I VIEW ARGYLE MATCHES ON ARGYLE TV?

Matches outside of the Saturday 3pm watershed during the 2021/22 season will be available on a pay-per-view basis at £10 per game.

Please note, Argyle TV is unable to stream any fixture domestically or internationally that has been selected for exclusive Sky Sports broadcast.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM THE LIVE FIXTURES?

All footage will be dependent on the location of the fixture.

At Home Park, Argyle TV will use our multi-camera production to give you the best view of the action, including our pre-match show, hosted by Erin Black as well as commentary from Rob McNichol .

At away fixtures the Club will primarily use a single camera angle taken from the home club.

We will still provide a dedicated Argyle TV commentary team.

IS ARGYLE TV THE SAME AS IFOLLOW?

The Club has opted out of the iFollow platform to pursue and protect our own commercial interests as well as to enhance the services and content for supporters.

WILL CONTENT STILL BE AVAILABLE ON YOUTUBE?

The club’s official YouTube channel will continue to operate with all existing videos remaining.

Due to the new Argyle TV full videos will initially only be available on our platform with short videos available on YouTube. Some full videos will be available on YouTube later than on Argyle TV.

HOW WAS THE PRICE DECIDED?

In correlation with the iFollow platform, we have matched their pricing.
